About the event

It is so important to have daily practices that help us to turn our attention inward for some portion of our day. Every morning I wake and connect to my body and breath in bed before I get up, to say good morning to feel connected to the flow of life and not start my day grabbed in the mind. The other practice that I often take part in each day is a pause during transition times. Often after I teach and do some writing or study work in the morning I pause or take a break from mental work. I go for a walk or I sit in meditation. It doesn't have to be fancy, sometimes I just put my feet up the wall in between my activities, roles, or when its time to shift my focus.


I would like to offer a "Group Silent Sitting" time each day…
